January – 2008

On Sunday, January 20^th, the faithful of Saint Herman’s celebrated their third anniversary of being a full mission community. The celebration was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg, and was attended by about 27 of our regular members. The event included a wonderful brunch (what would an Orthodox gathering be without food?), as well as Dan Lewis’ “Lying Game” (you’ll have to ask someone who was there!), a video game setup for the young folks, and a wonderful play area for the toddlers.

February – 2008

On Sunday, 03February, we will conducted our third annual parish meeting, held immediately after Divine Liturgy. A new parish board was elected, including Dan Lewis, David Lewis, and Debbie Williams. In addition, a large amount of time was spent reporting on our Building Committee’s search for a larger facility for Saint Herman’s use over the next several years. Continue to watch this space for more information, and God-willing the announcement of our securing such a facility in the near future.
