Prayer Requests:
For those who wish to have special needs remembered in prayer, the faithful of Saint Herman Eastern Orthodox Church would like to offer their prayers to help with those you know to be in need.
Please submit any such request with the following general information:
Name:(first name is adequate! God knows each of us!!)
Need:(a brief description of the need, and whether the prayer is for one suffering in the flesh, or one who is fallen asleep in the Lord)
Duration:(a brief statement of how long we should remember this person in prayer – perpetual, month, week, today, etc.)
Please remember that prayers for those in need are just that – for a specific need, with the emphasis being on the person’s SPIRITUAL well being. As such, prayers for health, for safe journey, for beginning a new job, for marriage issues, etc. are proper and acceptable. Prayers for such things as income or increase in status, or earthly possessions are NOT appropriate and will not be honored.
